Sarova Lion Hill
Lodge is set on a plateau
overlooking one of the world's
greatest
ornithological
spectacles, Lake Nakuru. The
lodge enjoys a panoramic view
across the lake and is
beautifully landscaped with
natural foliage and a startling
variety of flower gardens.
Accommodation is in chalet type
bedrooms each with private
bathroom and small patio and all
chalets face the lake. Other
amenities include a swimming
pool and sauna. Facilities
include a restaurant with both
indoor and outdoor dining areas
serving both international and
local cuisines. The restaurant
is located on the ground floor
with a patio overlooking the
pool, lounge and the great
expanse of the Rift Valley. The
Rift Valley Bar provides the
perfect place to enjoy a cool
drink and watch the sun set over
the Lake. Bush breakfast or
lunch. Dinner is sometimes
served outside within the lodge
premises.

is located inside Lake Nakuru
National Park. The lake, which
is a Ramsar site - a wetland of
international importance, is

birds especially flamingoes. The
distance from Nairobi is 180 km
away. The lodge
provides 68 rooms and cottages
with 136 beds. The rooms have
chalet bathrooms with private

staging post for
Imperial Airways
flying boat service from Durban
to London.

The Old Colonial architecture is
solid and comfortable with

The club's residents' lounge has
