Nanyuki Town
|
Nanyuki is a medium
sized town northwest of Mt Kenya. The
town has one of the most beautiful views
of the mountain, and is a hub for
trekkers climbing the Sirimoni route.
There are many hotels in and around
Nanyuki. For a bottom-end hotel, try the
Josaki Hotel which has singles/doubles
with attached bathrooms and hot waterfor
bed and breakfast another fair hotel is
the Jambo House Hotel which offers
singles/doubles and triples.
The Nanyuki River Lodge in the middle of
town a slightly expensive hotels
offering . Singles/Doubles including
breakfast in the sae line is Sportsman’s
Arms Hotel across the river in the
eastern end of town. This Hotel has
several kinds of cottages, a swimming
pool, three bars, a fitness club and a
nightly disco.
There are also several nice lodges
outside of Nanyuki town. Mt Kenya Safari
Club, the Ol Pejeta Ranch and the
Sweetwaters Tented Camp . These
hotels/safari lodges have nice
facilities and offer different kinds of
safaris.
