											 This is the
											largest national park in Kenya
covering about 21,000 Km square, it
is in fact one of the largest parks
in the world.. it is divided into
two by the Mombasa – Nairobi
highway, to Tsavo East and Tsavo
											west National Parks.
Main features to be seen here are
											the Lugard's Water falls, Mudanda
Rock, Yatta Plateau, a high rise
land seen from the main road. It is
at this area that poaching of
elephants was at it’s worst during
											the 1970s,
but now the herds are recovering
well. The Kanderi swamp is home to a
wide variety of wildlife. This is the
drier side of the park with the
Galana River as the main water
source. The source of the river is
the formation of two rivers, Tsavo
											River and Athi River.
