The lodge consists of 25
bungalows. Four of them are
honeymoon suites and four are
specially designed to
accommodate handicapped guests,
a swimming pool and a conference
center.

About
he Mto Wa Mbu escarpment,
overlooking the Great Rift
Valley and Lake Manyara . The
extraordinary birdlife has made
this place world-renowned among
ornithologists, who come to
observe the masses of pink
flamingos and great birds of
prey. The abundant birdlife
inspired the design of the Lodge
- swooping curves are
complemented by soft, geometric
patterns; striking murals depict
bird migration patterns.The
circular shape of the buildings
is a tribute to indigenous
architectural traditions in
Tanzania. The lodge comprises
67 luxury rooms.
The Tree Lodge is located in the
South of Lake Manyara National
Park. The remotely located
Tree Lodge is the only
lodge to reside within Lake
Manyara National Park and it
merges seamle
ssly into the
surrounding green forest
providing a very exclusive and
extravagant experience.
Kirurumu Tented Lodge
is a luxury tented lodge built
upon the Gregorian Escarpment of
the Great Rift Valley. Set in
this stunning location, it
overlooks a spectacular panorama
across
Lake Manyara to Mount
Losimongori and miles of
seemingly untouched Africa. An
idyllic resting place welcomes
the Safari weary traveller to an
informal private and relaxing
retreat. Accommodation is in
large walk-in tents,
built under thatched structures
with good-sized wooden verandas
to the front. This is a well-run
camp with an unpretentious feel
and great place to stay en route
between Tarangire or Lake
Manyara and Ngorongoro or the
Serengeti. As well as
providing a place to stay
between Manyara and Serengeti,
Kirurumu offers a wide range of
activities, which aren't
available in national parks and
that in themselves make this a
place worth staying at.
Cycling on mountain
bikes down to the eastern edge
of Lake Manyara and walks from
camp can easily be arranged. It
has 20 double and twin “tented
rooms”, including two honeymoon
suites.
